Reflex Colostrum Review

Reflex Colostrum sometimes referred to as first milk, is a substance found in the mother's milk of mammalians and in nature is every mammal's first source of nutrition. Only relatively recently (given the fact that it has been in existence for perhaps millions of years) has its appliance as a fitness supplement been recognised, prompting some companies (in this case, Reflex) to manufacture and market a synthesized version of this substance.

Having never used a colostrum supplement before, and with a complete lack of people to turn to for their opinion, I decided to review Reflex Colostrum for my benefit as well as your interest.

Reflex Colostrum is so highly valued for many reasons. Not only does it contain large amounts of the amino acids present in most protein supplements, but it also packs the added weight of immunoglobins to fight viruses, bacteria and fungi.

In the young of mammals, colostrum is also known to trigger the production of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) which proliferates the growth of certain cells types (muscles, bones, etc.) whilst inhibiting that of others (fat, and malign cells such as cancer). Whilst it's unclear whether these effects can be enjoyed as an adult taking colostrum, it's properties suggest that to indulge would be a wise choice.

Reflex Colostrum

Reflex colostrum comes in capsule form, and for around £12 you can bag yourself one-hundred of these nutritional powerhouses. The label recommends taking 1-3 capsules 2-4 times daily though, so that amounts doesn't quite stretch as far into the future as we'd like it to. To achieve a bit of an average, I chose to take 2 capsules, three times daily. I'm becoming accustomed to the cocktail of supplements I've been reviewing, so the routine itself didn't bother me at all. There's no repulsive smell inside the tubor aftertaste as with some supplementary capsules as well.

During the course (as this is billed as a recovery aid) I opted to steer clear of my usual whey protein supplement. I expected that each morning following a gym session I'd struggle to lift my arms and howl in pain when I tried to climb into the shower, and whilst there was more then the usual amount of soreness, the colostrum definitely had an impact. I also felt remarkably well within myself and (whether by luck or due to the supplement) never once felt under the weather during the course.

It is with pleasure then, that I recommend this product to you. At such a low price, it'll never break the bank and it's one of the more naturally occuring supplements you can buy.
